The last few weeks have been busy ones!! On a whim, I decided to enter 'Note to Self' in Canada's CBC Music's Searchlight songwriting competition. With 2100 contenders, it was mostly about taking a risk and to practice asking for help! I have been amazed by the support I have received.
MOST of ALL. though...I was shocked & excited to see my name make the TOP 100 or what is called the 'long-list'! Who would have thought it? I am among a group of amazing artists and I am humbled by that. I am now in the thick of Round 2!!
I am so grateful for those who have joined me in this journey. THANK YOU!!!! WOW... do I ever have some great supporters and exciting opportunities 'showing up'! [be sure to subscribe to this page to get the 'low down'] I am happy for the new connections and for strengthening old ones too. I am particularly impressed with the diverse connections from around the world!!!
If you want to join in this fun....voting continues til March 7 at 3pm. Then, the list will be reduced to the TOP 10 and a panel of celebrity judges will decide the winner.
